Writing Incentive Surprise!

As students left for special last week, I had them leave out their current writing project. When they came back they has an M&M any spot they used punctuation correctly. This helped many of them see, they need to be able to write over more pages during writing time and also pointed out ongoing sentences to them.

Our class researched different Ethnic groups and what they brought to America through immigration. The class did a great job researching and putting their information together on a poster to share with the class. 

Book-it! Assembly

Congratulations to the 3rd grade class!! They won 4 out of 6 months and Book-IT and had the chance to pie a teacher in the face. A great time was had by all K-5 students and Mrs. Cantrell, Ms. Dewyre and myself. 

Spring Break

Just a few more days and we will be back at school. Hope everyone has enjoyed their break and I look forward to seeing your smiles on Tuesday. :)
