Field Trip!!

Don't forget our first field trip of the year is this Thursday. We will be gone all day. Also, hope for nice weather as we will spend the entire day outside. Dress accordingly!! :)

Super Kid!

Take a look at our "Proud to be a Viking" board!! Each week a new student will be picked as our super kid of the week. On Monday, that student will take home a sheet to fill out about themselves and bring back to school the next day. They may also include up to 5 pictures on the board, but this is not mandatory. Please feel free to have students draw pictures as well, if you do not have pictures to staple to the board. 

Our first super kid is Adam. His information will be up this entire upcoming week. Look for future SUPER KID updates. :)

First Week

One week down! 

I can't believe how fast our first week of school went. It was a busy week but extremely exciting. The class did a wonderful job remembering how to be safe, respectful, achievers! By the end of the week they were amazing me left and right with their behavior in all parts of the building. AWESOME!

 Keep an eye out for pictures to be posted soon. Once I receive the media paperwork signed, I will begin posting pictures of our daily activities for parents to view. Looking forward to another wonderful week coming soon.

Supplies

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the supplies they purchased for their children and the classroom. I know it can be a lot at the beginning of the year, especially when you have more than one child. These are just the classroom supplies donated this year, students have already put their individual supplies in their desks

. We have already spoke as a class about taking care of our supplies and we will continue to make these last throughout the year. Thanks again for all you do to help your children succeed.

Symmetry Masks

To finish up our geometry unit, students made symmetry masks. They were able to choose a symmetrical mask or non-symmetrical. I love how different they are!! Well done 4th grade. 

Finished Food Chains

Just a few examples of our finished or almost finished food chains. They turned out AWESOME!!
