End of the year Field Trip!

Both 3rd and 4th graders have a fantastic time at our end of the year field trip last week. We enjoyed challanging ourselves on the zipline, rock wall, bridge and even took in some Michigan History. What a fun way, to end a great year!!

Measurement Unit

Our class has been working hard on Measurement over the last few weeks. This week we made our own meter sticks to see how millimeters, centimeters, decimeters and meters were all related. The students did a great job and they will be coming home with the meter sticks on Monday. 

Stride with Pride!!

Congratulations to all Stride with Pride runners!! We had a great run last Saturday. Hope to see you all back next year for our third annual Stride with Pride race.

Compliment Bucket!

Congratulations to the 4th Grade class for achieving 10 more compliments from other staff members in the building. Our class picked a movie reward and voted on watching Frozen. What a fun way to finish a great week!! 

Writing Incentive Surprise!

As students left for special last week, I had them leave out their current writing project. When they came back they has an M&M any spot they used punctuation correctly. This helped many of them see, they need to be able to write over more pages during writing time and also pointed out ongoing sentences to them.
